Portable X-Ray Stress Analysis for Industrial Metal Components
The Portable X-Ray Stress Analyzer is designed for non-destructive measurement of surface residual stress in metal components. Using X-ray diffraction, Cosα analysis, and a 2D area detector, the system captures Debye ring data in a single exposure and provides quantitative residual stress results for field inspection and engineering evaluation.
With a compact 4.1 kg design, multiple collimator options, and computer-based analysis software, the CR-360CrV0-2 is suitable for on-site testing where laboratory X-ray diffraction equipment is difficult to use.
Key Features
-
Cosα X-ray diffraction method: Analyze residual stress from Debye ring data without traditional multi-angle scanning.
-
2D area detector: Captures two-dimensional diffraction patterns for rapid data acquisition.
-
Portable design: Approximate instrument weight of 4.1 kg for workshop and field applications.
-
Chromium X-ray target: Suitable for common iron-based and steel materials when used with the appropriate material parameters.
-
Multiple collimators: Includes 0.3 mm, 0.5 mm, 1 mm, and 2 mm options for different measurement areas.
-
Non-destructive testing: Measures surface residual stress without cutting or removing the tested component.
-
Computer-based analysis: Displays diffraction patterns and calculated stress results for documentation and comparison.
-
Suitable for field inspection: Designed for welds, pipelines, pressure equipment, rail components, machinery parts, and other metal structures.
